My wellies

The keen-eyed amongst you may have noticed that my wellies have changed. I know it isn't very environmentally-sound to buy new things before the old ones have worn out, but I'm afraid I impulse-bought my old wellies from a cheap shoe shop in Oxford and they never fitted very comfortably, so they're off to the charity shop to make way for ...

Aren't they great? They come from Seasalt clothing, a Cornish company who have very good environmental and ethical standards - a lot of their range uses organic cotton, and they also manufacture quite innovative environmentally-sound fabrics. I discovered them when browsing online for organic cotton clothes a few years ago, and was able to stock-up on a range of items when we were down in Penzance on holiday last year - they've tonnes of shops in the South West, but for the rest of us there's always the internet.

Look out for the wellies in my posts ...
